A Jam Packed Monday

This morning, Clara and Emma slept longer than usual, probably making up for their short car nap yesterday. Mommy took the ladies to Norwalk, CT (about 40 minutes) to the Maritime Aquarium. It was pretty empty and believe it or not, even though Mommy brought the stroller, the ladies walked (and ran) around the whole time. It was a small and pretty manageable aquarium.

Clara put her hand in right away to touch the sting rays and Emma said "they scare me" and then joined her. This scenario repeated itself when the gals visited exhibit with crabs and starfish that one could touch. Both ladies loved seeing the penguins outside and watching the seals swim by them. Emma loved the jellyfish and kept going back to see them.

After their nap, the ladies headed to Kidville for the first class of Ballet. Clara and Emma didn't take any classes last semester because of the trip to Argentina, so Mommy thought it was time to add something new to the mix. Emma loved being in front of the mirror and their favorite part was the actual tea party- with baby tea cups filled with apple juice and animal crackers. Watching them drink from the cups was too funny.

The gang also had a late afternoon playdate with new neighbors Maya and Kayla. Clara and Emma loved their mini swing, slide and ball pit. It was fun to play with everyone!

Tonight, the girls enjoyed a book read by Daddy and doing their new thing- taking bites of foods in the book- ie tonite it was "Cowboy Cookies" from their Dora book. Mommy is also thrilled that both ladies know that Grandma and Grandpa Frome live in Maryland, Uncle Adam and co. live in Texas and that Tia and Tio and co. live in Argentina. Kind of neat that when Mommy asks, they answer and get it right!
