NJ Children's Museum

For the second day in a row, Clara threw an all out temper tantrum about what clothes she was set to wear. Yesterday it was about brown tights- Mommy had leggings and Clara wanted tights. All out, screaming and crying until Mommy got her tights. And, she made sure to tell everyone she saw that she was wearing them too! Today, after finally getting Clara dressed due to a temper tantrum about rainbow socks, Mommy drove to Paramus to the NJ Children's Museum to meet Mommy's friend from grad school, Jen and her boys, Sam and Zachary. It is a small museum, so Clara and Emma had some freedom to wander. They enjoyed watching the train go around, sitting in the construction truck, the big dollhouse, the music area (especially the piano) and shopping. It was a good activity for an hour for the kids.

For lunch, the Gornstein gals dined at Paparazzi at the Garden State Plaza with Jen and her boys. It is a great deal- each kid got a pizza, chocolate milk and ice cream for $7! Not too bad. And, they loved it. Emma and Clara learned how to tell a joke from friend Zachary- who is the same age as they are. For the rest of the day, Emma kept saying "Chicken cross the street. " In true "Frome" fashion, she'd forget the punch line and need to be prompted, but then would say "to get to the other side."

And, on the way there Mommy took the Tappan Zee, but on the way home Mommy took the GW Bridge home- a first!

Clara and Emma both slept in the car and Mommy was able to transfer them to the crib!

This afternoon was warmer than usual, so Mommy took the ladies for a walk - which was really a run- outside in the neighborhood.

Daddy came home a little earlier than usual and enjoyed some tv time with the ladies. Clara got to watch one of her favorite shows, Max and Ruby. Mommy and Daddy both got a kick out of watching her watch tv- as she giggled at many of the parts.
