It was a rainy and cold Sunday. Mommy and Daddy tried to take the gang to shop for couches, but the stores didn't open until 11. Oh well.
This afternoon, Clara and Emma went with Mommy to NYSC (the gym where Mommy works out) to go to Eitan's 3rd birthday. Eitan is the only boy in their nursery school class and Clara and Emma talk about him often. Clara and Emma loved running around and playing on the ride on toys, with the hula hoops and the parachute. The cookies and cake were a hit too!
Tonite, the ladies enjoyed dinner with Mommy and Daddy- and loved eating the same thing as Daddy- mac and cheese and a hot dog (yes, Grandpa Frome, cut up).
They loved lighting the candles. Mommy gets a kick out of listening to Emma say the blessings - tonite she said the blessing over the challah. It is incredible how much they've learned at school.
Mommy gave them a fabric tea set and two books - "Do Princesses Wear Hiking Boots?" Mommy likes these books because it talks about little girls playing soccer, getting dirty in the sandbox etc and still being princesses.
Tonight, Clara and Emma again insisted on reading their special book from school that they have this week, Brown Bear- with the pictures of all their classmates. Mommy is not looking forward to giving it back as they will be very unhappy. They love reading it themselves and get very excited to see the faces of their friends!
