What a Friday! Clara and Emma woke up around 8 to find Grandma and Grandpa Frome in the kitchen. After a few moments, they greeted them with hugs and kisses. Clara and Emma enjoyed breakfast with Grandma and Grandpa while Mommy tried to beat the pre snowstorm grocery store rush and shop for food.
Even though it was a chilly winter morning, the gang headed to the New York Botanical Gardens for the Holiday Train Show. It was incredible and so neat to watch Clara and Emma enjoy watching the trains. They sat close by the railing and pointed at the trains, tried to catch them as they came through tunnels and reach them from Grandpa's shoulders. The flowers, trees, replicas of homes and truly the entire exhibit are not to be missed.
After a nice nap, the ladies headed to the JCC in Tarrytown for Tot Shabbat. It was a lovely Hanukkah/Shabbat celebration. Friends Sam and Gabe Rikon were there with their Mommy and Grandma too! Clara and Emma decorated dreidels with crayons and fun stickers and enjoyed lighting Hanukkah and Shabbat candles. And, the big treat was the challah and donuts at the end! As Emma said, "Yum, Yum, Yummy."
