On Sunday, Clara and Emma enjoyed a party at Gymtime in Elmsford to celebrate Sammy and Gabe's first birthday. It was lots of fun. Clara enjoyed climbing up everything and Emma loved the rocking toys. They both tried the pizza and ate it like ladies- they held the whole slice and bit off pieces. Of course, cake was a favorite part of the day. Ckara and Emma enjoyed the party with Mommy while Daddy watched some football at home.
After a quick nap, Clara and Emma played with Mommy and Daddy. Clara seemed to learn a new skill- biting. Earlier in the day, she had bit Mommy and in the afternoon, she bit Emma and Daddy. Mommy and Daddy have tried to explain to her that this isn't nice behavior, and hope it is because her teeth are hurting, but hope it doesn't happen again. Even Emma got scared of Clara and moved away when she came near. In the late afternoon, Daddy took Clara and Emma for a walk and they came for dinner. Clara and Emma weren't interested in the chicken nuggets Mommy made or the carrots,peas or corn, so it was the back up of cheese and bread for dinner. Clara and Emma both enjoyed their bath- and Mommy and Daddy were pleased to see Clara not cry in the bath. Emma seems to be able to say "Elmo"- it sounds like "eh mo."
Unfortunately, Clara and Emma both had a very difficult time falling asleep- it took 3 hours of crying- which included several visits from Mommy and Daddy- until they finally fell asleep. Mommy and Daddy know it is teething- especially since they can see all the teeth coming in for both Clara and Emma and feel bad for both of them.
