In the afternoon, the ladies enjoyed playing in the living room, which now features a new gate to prevent the possiblity of Clara and Emma reaching the stairs. Clara and Emma enjoy their large rice cakes and taking bites of it. While it made a mess, it was cute!
Today, Mommy decided it was too cold to go play outside with friends, but had already loaded Clara and Emma in the car and decided to drive to the playground to say hi. It was a short drive and turns out, a good thing Mommy came right home. When Mommy got out of the car, she heard a hissing sound and realized quickly that she had a flat. Mommy got Clara and Emma inside and called Daddy. Daddy informed Mommy what to do and the repair people came within a half hour. Daddy's meeting got postponed, so he came home and spent the day with his ladies. After their nap and lunch, and trying on of winter hats, Mommy and Daddy loaded Clara and Emma in the car and headed to White Plains. Mommy took Clara and Emma to Bloomingdales for the charity event, which featured Musical Munchkins (the music class that Clara and Emma took over the summer). Clara and Emma got to try playing the guitar. Clara was very excited and went for it, while Emma got scared and once Mommy showed her it was okay, tried it. It was lots of fun. While Mommy, Clara and Emma enjoyed themselves, Daddy got the tires fixed. Daddy got everyone home in time for a nap. Mommy entertained the ladies with "Itsy Bitsy Spider"- which Emma now does the spider (Mommy doesn't know where she got this) and "Head Shoulders Knees and Toes" (Emma has head, mouth, and nose down and Clara is getting head). In the late afternoon, the Gornstein gang headed to Stew Leonard's. The ladies enjoyed playing with Daddy and it was a special treat during the week!
