Mommy took Emma to the eye doctor for a very early 7 am appointment. Emma's eyes have been oozing junk again and it isn't pink eye, so Mommy and Daddy knew it has to do with the surgery, but weren't sure what was happening. The doctor examined Emma and said that one of the stents in one eye had fallen out and the other eye still had two and so he took that out. The doctor had put two stents in during the surgery and planned to take them out in June unless they fell out. The purpose of the stents to to block the tear ducts and help them expand, so he said it was good that she was oozing because it showed that she didn't need to blocked. Mommy doesn't understand it all. She is a little bruised, but just fine. Of course, it is back on her eye antibiotic for a week.
Mommy came home and then packed the ladies up for a quick trip to Buy Buy Baby and bumped into Michele- which was totally fun and made Westchester feel more like home.
A messy pizza lunch was enjoyed by both Clara and Emma. Mommy put the ladies down at 11:50. While Emma had taken a small snooze in the car on the way home from the store, both were tired as they woke up at 6:40. Mommy wonders if this is the turning point or a fluke, but it should be noted that it is 2:30 and they are still sleeping!!!!!!
