It is official, the days of the "pit," after almost one year, are gone. Today, while Mommy put some laundry in, Clara and Emma escaped from the pit. No, they didn't open the door. It seems they figured out how to put their toys close to the gate, stand on them and climb over. When Mommy discovered them, Clara was running around with two pairs of shoes saying "shoes, shoes" and Emma was playing with the Ipod. At this time, Mommy and Daddy have no comment on this new development.
It is a good thing Mommy intends to child proof the new house and make it a Clara and Emma friendly home!
Later in the day, Mommy walked with Clara and Emma across the street to Heather's house to play with Allie and Jenn and Anabelle. It was lots of fun!
During dinner, Emma and Clara both managed to undo their straps and tried ot stand in the chair. Emma also liked putting her feet up on the tray. Mommy taught them both to blow the horn using the paper towels.
