Yesterday, Mommy took Clara and Emma on the path going north. It was lovely walk and Clara and Emma even bumped into Cousin Lani on the path! Later, Mommy went to the gym and then to get a massage. It was very nice! At home, Clara and Emma played with their toys, took a nap and read books. It was very humid outside, so even when Mommy got home, Cheri and Mommy decided not to take them out.
This morning, after breakfast, Clara and Emma played with their push toy. They both took a few steps with it! Clara and Emma enjoyed a long walk through the village and then back on the Old Croton Aqueduct path. After their nap, Cheri arrived to play with Clara and Emma for the day. Mommy ran some errands and got back in time for the little ones to wake up from their nap. Mommy and Cheri got them ready for the pool and walked over the the wading pool/park on Palisade Street. It is very close- less than 5 minutes! Clara and Emma both enjoyed turns in their float and loved the water. After the pool, they enjoyed fig newtons for a snack and tried out new sippy straw cups. These are the same brand that they've been using, but have handles. The both were able to hold them and soon, Mommy will start giving them their lunchtime formula from the cup. After snack, the girls visited the swings for a few minutes before returning home. After playing together, they had dinner and a bath before their bottles. Clara fed herself her evening bottle again! It is very cute to watch her lay in the boppy and hold her bottle. After they went to bed, Daddy was about to grill, down came the rain and hail! Quite a storm, but Clara and Emma kept on sleeping!
