Mommy and the gals even bumped into the next door neighbor from Ardsley, who is a ER dr. at one of the hospitals. Small world.
Then, it was a VERY long cab ride to Grand Central. The entertainment of the cab tv only lasted so long. Clara and Emma wanted to touch buttons and stand up. Mommy gave them snacks and that was the only thing that kept them seated. If Mommy could figure out how to get on the bus or subway with twins herself, she would have done it, but it just isn't that easy. After a quesadilla lunch for Clara and Emma at Cafe Metro, it was off to meet Daddy and head to Maryland. Clara and Emma fell asleep very quickly, but of course, didn't take a long nap in the car. Only one stop and lots of stickers, color wonder coloring books, doodle pros, books and singing later, the gang arrived in Maryland at about 4:30- and were greeted at the car by Grandma Frome.
Clara and Emma warmed up quickly and enjoyed chatting with Grandma and Grandpa Frome. After a bath, with lots of tupperware, Clara and Emma read a few books and went to sleep.
