Making Pizza

It was off to run errands on a cloudy and rainy Saturday morning for the Gornstein girls. Clara and Emma's favorite errand was the one to Babies R Us for Mommy to pick up the photos. Clara and Emma enjoyed riding tricycles- and exhausting Daddy.

In the afternoon, when Mommy asked Emma why she didn't want to do something, Emma responded "because." Another no comment from Mommy and Daddy. However, in the car, Emma was reading a book and said to Clara, "Clara, I read to you. Once Upon a Time. (Now she flips pages) The End."

Clara walked right back in the house and picked up her guitar to jam. She is getting good and playing- lifting it above her head and leaning back to play it. No ideas where she gets this from. They both enjoyed playing with the pull toy giraffe. Emma announced that she was taking it on a walk and said to Clara "follow me."

Since it had been decided that pizza was for dinner, Mommy and Daddy decided to try something new. Daddy went to the store and got the ingredients. Clara and Emma sat nicely at their table. Mommy split the large whole wheat pita in half and put it on a plate. Mommy also put the tomato sauce and cheese in two separate bowls. Mommy showed Clara and Emma what to do and they followed. They both spread the tomato sauce on and sprinkled cheese on. Of course, they ate a bit too. Then, Daddy put it in the oven and lifted Clara and Emma to watch it bake. After using Mommy's handy new trick of using scissors to cut the pizza, Clara and Emma enjoyed their homemade dinner!
