The party started with an art activity of decorating picture frames with foam stickers. The kids sat and did the project and it gave the adults a little time to chat.
Then, it was off to BBQ. Clara ate some burger and Emma had her own hot dog- cut up, of course. Emma even enjoyed some zucchini!
Today's cake was a Yo Gabba Gabba cake. Clara and Emma were very excited to blow out the candles. Today, they ate their cake on a plate with a fork and it wasn't even close to a mess as yesterday!
Grandma and Grandpa came just in time to see everyone and help put Clara and Emma to bed. It was a great help having them!
When Clara and Emma went around to say thank you and goodbye, they both saw the bug candles and started singing "happy to you" and tried to blow them out. Mommy and Daddy reassured them that they'll have a few more chances to blow out the candles!
