Choo Choo Train

On Friday, Clara and Emma enjoyed the park near Grandma and Grandpa's house. Now, Mommy is becoming an expert on parks in Westchester, so based on that, this is a GREAT park. It has that special cushioned pavement type material and equipment that is appropriate for kids Clara and Emma's age. Clara found a bar and decided to hang from it- and showed Daddy and Grandpa how strong she is!

Next, Mommy and Daddy too the gals to Cabin John Regional Park to go on the train ride and hang at the playground. Clara and Emma both asked to go on the choo choo again, so Mommy will try and take them to the one in Wheaton later this week. After successfully wearing them out, a quick lunch at Celebrity Deli was well-deserved. The gals loved their booster seats and sitting at the table. Emma enjoyed a lemon - Mommy isn't sure how she got into these- and both ladies wanted spoons, forks and knives (all plastic and as Emma repeated "I need a spoon etc.").

Clara and Emma took a decent nap, about an hour and a half - Mommy and Daddy need to remember that on vacation, all bets are off. The good news is that they slept through the night and woke up at 7:20, like normal.

In the afternoon, it was off to the Rockville Library at the Town Square and then for some ice cream. Both Clara and Emma enjoyed eating their ice cream with a spoon out of a cup, and drinking the last bit of it. And, they loved checking out the water fountain, and making sure that Daddy and Grandpa got wet too.

Emma sees pictures of the Frome family taken last Passover 2008 and says " I see Grandpa in the picture, I see Grandma in the picture.

Clara had a blast playing peek a book with Grandma at dinner. She didn't eat too much, but Emma ate peas -even as she said "I don't like peas," and ate corn on the cob too.
