At Rio, everyone checked out the Little Tots program where there was coloring, balloons, balloon animals and an animal show! After seeing some animals, Mommy wanted to make sure that Clara and Emma got to feed the ducks and go on the new train ride at Rio. Mommy and Rachel took cheerios and bread and gave them to the ladies to toss in the water. Then, it was on to the little train ride. It was very cute!
After an hour and twenty minute nap, Emma, with hippo and blankie attached, headed to Yogi Castle for frozen yogurt. Yet another great rec. from Mommy's friend Lisa. It was perfect because they have one size cup that you fill with whatever flavors you want and toppings and then pay by weight. It worked well for the kids because Mommy put a little chocolate and a little plain and a few strawberries and they sat and ate it. It was messy, but lots of fun. Grandma even had some!
Then, Grandma showed Mommy around the Kentlands- a community in Gaithersburg that Mommy had never seen before a trip to Whole Foods. In the afternoon, Mommy's friend Shelly and her son, Jonah, who is almost 12, came by to hang out with Clara and Emma.
Another fun and busy day in Maryland.
