This morning, it was off to the Zoo in D.C. with Grandpa. It is so different than the Bronx Zoo. When you park, you walk out and are right at the animals. And, you are much closer to the animals than at the Bronx Zoo. Also, it opens much earlier, but there is not all the animals are out until 10. Clara and Emma got to see the apes, monkeys, lions, leopard, sea lions, frogs, alligators, and a hippo. They also got to see the elephant getting a bath and hung out with the panda while he slept. Emma spent the day saying "wake up panda."
Clara and Emma slept in the car on the way home and enjoyed pizza for lunch at home. After a quick bath, it was off to Tysons Corner mall with Grandma. The little ladies enjoyed frozen yogurt, running around the play area and yes, another train ride.
