This morning on the way to school, Emma noticed the W.B. Mason truck in front of the car while waiting at a light and exclaimed, "Daddy!" Mommy asked why she thought this and her response, "he has a mustache." See the picture- Mommy doesn't think so, but funny that Emma did.
Because of the Jewish holidays (this week of Sukkot), Clara and Emma had a short week (and they missed Monday!). Here is a note from their teachers.
This (short) week in the 3's Sept. 22, 2010
At the end of another short but wonderful week in the 3's, we are happy to say that all of the children have really gotten to know one another well.
Thank you to Abby and her family for the delicious apples that they picked and shared with us for snack!
The great weather has made a nice long outdoor play time possible, just when we need it each day.
We have had our first "school" birthday celebration - for Anabelle - and it went smoothly. All the children had fun.
Gina has read some of our books about Sukkot at story time, and she and Nancy have encouraged each child to create decorations for the sukkah. They are now hanging in the sukkah for all to enjoy when we have snack there next week.
Use of the bathroom as well as visits and tries by those not quite trained yet is going very well.
Have a happy Sukkot and weekend! Shabbat Shalom!
Nancy and Gina
