Yesterday, the ladies enjoyed being outside and playing with Daddy. In the afternoon, they had a blast at their new neighbor, Shana and her family.
Today, Clara and Emma enjoyed IHOP breakfast with Daddy while Mommy went to the gym. This afternoon, after their nap, the ladies checked out the carnival in Hartsdale. Rides are expensive, but they made the height requirements (much different than the last carnival- this one most rides were 32 in vs 36 in) and enjoyed the trucks, motorcycles (which seemed to go on forever) and the train. They also enjoyed checking out the new playground in Hartsdale where the carnival was held.
In the car on the way home from the carnival, Emma commented "I need my sticks so I can Jam. Of course, it is repeated by Clara. Then, they both broke out in song, "A, B,C."
Speaking to Grandma Kathy, Mommy asked Clara and Emma what holiday was this week. They both yelled "Rosh Hashanah." And then continued "Apples and Honey for Rosh Hashanah!"
They both continue to be picky about food. Emma loved the "quiche pizza" and gobbled it up. Clara didn't want any. And, Emma kindly did Mommy's job.
Emma:"Why don't you like it? I like it. I tried it and I liked it. It is yummy in my tummy."
Clara: "I don't like it." Running down the hall.
Emma: "Why is Clara crying? Can I go see? Clara, why are you crying? I like it."
For dessert, Mommy offered strawberries and watermelon. Emma demanded "put three in because Im three, 1,2,3."
