Emma woke up several times again last night, but finally pooped!
Today's tantrums featured both ladies. Clara got very upset this morning because she wanted to wear her rainbow socks (nope, this love didn't go away - just took the summer off) and was very angry that she couldn't pull them up to her knees ala leg warmers. A 45 minute fit- crying and throwing herself around began and Mommy tried everything, but nothing soothed her. Of course, Mommy got her in the car, along with Emma and by the time they saw their school, they both couldn't wait to go inside. Today was an hour and fifteen minutes, so Mommy at least got to take a walk with friends and have some coffee. After, the ladies enjoyed the playground with some classmates, and despite requests, all had to go in the sandbox and get covered in sand!
Clara pitched another fit - this time likely due to exhaustion- and Mommy slept in between Clara and Emma during their short nap. After a quick trip to the store, cookie bribe for Clara and Emma included, the ladies couldn't wait to play with their neighbor Kayla. It was lots of fun- even though Emma screamed for various reasons.
