Emma's MRI

Another day, another test in the quest to find a possible cause for Emma's severe constipation.

Emma was weighed and is 26.9 lbs, a bit of a drop from a few weeks ago on the same scale. Interesting...

Emma requested that Cinderella be put on the tv (ie the monitor) in the room where she was waiting briefly for the MRI. She kepts saying "Cindy, Cindy, put it on." And, yes, even with the help from the nurses and anesthesiologist, Emma protested quite a bit. The MRI took about 45 min. from start to finish. She slept for an hour before waking up, but was just a tad groggy and otherwise happy. She was thrilled to have apple juice and cheerios too. She even smiled on the way out in the stroller. While Mommy paid for parking, Emma and Clara noted the Dora balloon up in the ceiling on the entryway. Grandpa didn't know it, but believe it or not, it was the balloon that flew off the stroller on Friday when Emma was being strolled out of the hospital! Funny.

Clara slept on the way home and Emma rested. Mommy navigated traffic and again, dr
ove cross town and up and managed to avoid most of the UN General Assembly traffic. Mommy took the ladies to the new yogurt shop in Scarsdale -this one is also opening in Dobbs soon- and was cheaper than the other one in the Village. The ladies loved picking out the toppings and enjoyed the treat.

Then it was off to WCEED where Clara had her first physical therapy session and her 2nd speech session and Emma had her 2nd physical therapy and occupational  therapy sessions. They both got glowing reports.

Everyone is glad today is over and grateful that these procedures are all minor and that Emma will be just fine!
