"Sleepover Party"

Daddy has had to leave for work earlier than the kids wake up. He was able to run in and say hi- and let Clara know that unzipping her pjs is not a good idea. She exclaimed "I naked." Emma ran around the house asking if anyone needed "fake eyelashes." Mommy asked her where she learned this and she said "Ruby" of "Max and Ruby." Mommy also thinks they both got their idea for a sleepover party from this show too...

Clara and Emma enjoyed celebrating Tu Bshvat at school (the holiday of trees). According to the director of the school, Clara and Emma played with the olives and put them on their fingers like puppets during the Tu Bshvat seder, where they talk about different fruits and get to try them.

Here is a note from their teachers about the morning at school.Dear Parents,

"Today and yesterday we did some planting for Tu B'Shevat. We planted parsley seeds, which should grow in time for Passover!
Just give them water and sun. (But before watering, remember to put something underneath because the water will come through the holes on the bottom.)

At snack, Jackie came in to talk to us about fruit that grows on trees. We looked at all the different kinds of seeds.
And we ate a lot of the fruits, both fresh and dried. Cantor Amy visited also, and sang a song for Tu B'Shevat called
"Trees Are Blowing."

It was a busy, delicious day!!

Your Twos' Team,

Laurie and Helene"

Mommy told Clara and Emma today was their half birthday. They kept saying "Happy Birthday Clara," "Happy Birthday Emma" to each other.

Today's sleepover party involved "sleeping bags"- which Mommy made from towels, the travel pillows, turning the lights out and at Emma's request, "telling ghost stories."

Mommy, Clara and Emma discovered a new treat- chocoloate covered rice cakes from Stew's. What a yummy snack!

Mommy also marked today's 2 1/2 year birthday by measuring them!
