Clara and Emma are 2 1/2 years old! While Mommy has been marking their ages each month, this one seems like a big deal.
Not a day has gone by it seems without Clara wearing her purple tutu. It goes to school, the playground, playdates, family events and more. She tries to sleep with it too. It is attached.
Clara has also been into helping out - helping unload the dishwasher and put away the dishes, clean up messes etc. Her sentence"I help you," is adorable.
Emma loves princesses and talks about Cinderella- even though she has never seen the movie. Her memory is incredible- she will say "I want to go swimming with Julieta and then see tio and tia" referring to the family in Argentina.
The ladies also both have a mischevious side. They pull chairs over and stand on them to get things. Clara has started unzipping her pajamas and saying "I naked." The method of 1,2, 3 seems to be working most of the time.
Clara and Emma continue to love going to school. They run in and don't look back and talk about it at home.
Both love reading the "Brown Bear" book that is from nursery school featuring their classmates and teachers. It is funny when they get to someone that doesn't go to school on the day they do, Emma will say "he's in the other class." But they know everyone's names! They also are enjoying the "Please, thank you book," "Ladybug Girl," and any magazine that Mommy reads.
Clara and Emma can be characterized as "snackers." They don't really sit for meals these days. Clara, if she could, would happily live on chocolate milk and challah. Emma loves muffins and noodles. Of course, that was this month, and one never knows what is to come.
The big news this month is that Clara and Emma's schedule has shifted a bit. Now waking up at around 7:45 am, the ladies are taking a nap from 1-3 pm and go to bed around 7 pm.
