On the way to school, Mommy said something about how she was trying to drive across the street. Emma responded "Mommy, keep trying. Don't give up." When Mommy drove across the street, Emma said "Good job Mom. You did it."
This morning, Clara and Emma went to school and Mommy ran around town making sure to stop at the pharmacy, post office and grocery store before the expected snow storm comes on Wednesday.
Lunch today was an interesting outing to Pumpernickel with Mommy's friend Lori and her daughter, Emma- the same age as Clara and Emma. Emma G. said "look, there are 2 Emmas, 1,2" Clara and Emma ordered their own food- noodles for Emma and pizza for Clara, and of course, chocolate milk. Despite the coloring and bread, the kids were hungry and Clara and Emma just weren't interested in dining out nicely and in fact, probably only ate the bread, with butter that they love to spread on.
Clara woke up from her nap and started saying "Emma, wake up." After she made sure Emma was up, she started singing "la, la, la, pa, pa, pa, ba, ba..." She then moved on and started saying "yay, Emma. yay, Mommy. yay, Papa. yay, Grandma." Clara wanted to be in Emma's crib, so they played there for a long time.
Emma set up two chairs in the kitchen and told Mommy to "sit down," and put her rubber ducky next to Mommy. Mommy was told that Clara and Emma were going to do a "music show." Clara got her guitar and Emma got a pretend box of instruments and played a tuba, horn and harmonica. Then, she went and got the plastic guitar for her jam session.
