Twin Friends and Mexican Food

Clara and Emma are taking their afternoon nap and Mommy thought she would take a few minutes to fill everyone in on the past few days.

Yesterday, the nanny came again. Mommy got to go to the NYSC gym for the first time. It is brand new and Mommy even got to see her trainer! On her way out, Mommy checked out the drive thru Starbucks- it was pretty cool. In the afternoon, Mommy and Cheri took the girls for a walk to Hastings.

Day 4 of no 3 pm bottle went well and the girls had cheese and puffs as a snack.

Today, Mommy was happy to welcome Naomi (a friend from the city) and her twins, Micah and Eitan for a visit. Mommy and Naomi took a walk through the village and went to Tomatillo to eat, where Clara and Emma devoured a cheese quesadilla. Emma couldn't get enough of it. Too bad Daddy doesn't like Mexican food because this place was yummy and very accomodating of two double strollers! On the way home, Mommy stopped in Affordables so she could get the baby float. It is going to be very hot, so Mommy was glad to get the float and be ready for the weekend!

After their nap, the girls had their first playdate in Westchester at a park in Irvington with friends from music class. It was lots of fun. Emma got a new name... "toy stealer." You see, Emma liked crawling over to the other babies to say hello and take their toys and put them in her mouth. It is her way of making friends... The girls also liked crawling off the blanket and playing in the dirt.
