Friday in the City

Daddy drove Clara, Emma and Mommy to the city on Friday morning. Mommy and Daddy timed it perfectly and with very little fussing, both girls fell asleep for the entire ride. After visiting Daddy's office, Mommy headed up to Stephanie's apartment. Clara and Emma enjoyed lunch and playing with Henry and Isabel. Mommy didn't know if the girls would nap, but she took a chance and put them in the stroller and walked with them and Stephanie up to Corner Cafe. And, they both napped on the long walk and through lunch! After doing a little shopping in the old 'hood, Mommy took Clara and Emma to see the old apartment building and got to say hi to Clara's "boyfriend" Walter- she lit up when she saw him. The girls crawled around on the floor and as a special treat, saw building twin friends, James and Claire. Then, Clara tried to kiss a puppy and was very gentle with it. Emma thought she wanted to say hi, but cried when the puppy came over. On the way home, Clara and Emma both took a little nap. After dinner, they both were tired and drank their bottles and went to sleep for the night.
