On Saturday, Grandma and Grandpa Gornstein came for the day. To entertain the ladies in the afternoon, Clara and Emma visited the Galleria and Macy's to help Mommy and Daddy get some new pillows. On Day 5 of no 3 pm bottle, Mommy gave the girls a new snack- fig newtons. What a hit! Grandma and Grandpa watched Clara and Emma so Mommy and Daddy could go to dinner at Harvest on Hudson and start sampling food in Westchester. It was yummy!
Clara and Emma both woke with low fevers and runny noses. They were going to go to the city for a birthday party, but Mommy and Daddy didn't want to risk it. While it is probably due to teething, the girls were quite cranky. In fact, they weren't so interested in napping. In the afternoon, Mommy and Daddy took the girls for their first visit to Costco. And... there, they have carts with room for two babies. Clara even put her arm around Emma. The girls were quite cute and lots of people stopped to talk with them and it kept them entertained! Day 6 of no 3 pm bottle also featured fig newtons. It seems that Clara and Emma have adjusted well to no 3pm bottle, as long as there is a snack!
This morning, Mommy took the girls on a walk and to the park to swing before it got too hot outside.
