Morning Fun and Playdate in Rivertowns
Mommy knows she hasn't taken too many pictures recently, so this morning, Mommy wanted to capture Clara and Emma playing. The girls started the day talking at 6:30 ish and enjoyed their breakfast. Mommy had a few things to do and let them watch some Sesame Street -don't worry Grandma Frome- only for a little and they hadn't seen it in forever! Mommy and Daddy got a kick out of watching Clara and Emma react to Elmo on tv. Aunt Alyssa got an Elmo and Big Bird for the girls for Hannukah and the girls smile, laugh and scream when they see him. Then, the girls went to the play area. Clara read her favorite book, Hello Bee, Hello Me and played with her new favorite toy, Daddy's soccer ball. Emma played with the phone and enjoyed looking at herself and kissing the mirror. She also has mastered standing up and looking between her legs for things, especially her phone.

On Friday afternoon, Mommy took Clara and Emma to the park near the house for a playdate with some of the people from music class. Mommy is very appreciative that Clara and Emma have been invited to participate and it has made the transition so much better! Clara and Emma immediately got on the ground and made their presence knows. Clara went to say hi to Sonya who was still in her carseat. Clara seem to be very interested in the carseat, as she continued to visit it and pull up to standing and just look at it. Emma, of course, to be true to her new name, "toy stealer" went right to Sonya's wooden toy, even though Mommy brought lots and lots of toys. Clara and Emma also enjoyed the dirt - the picked up leaves and tried to eat them and got their feet in the dirt. They also enjoyed a snack in the park and couldn't get enough of the fig newtons or puff Mommy brought. Mommy got Clara and Emma home in time for dinner and then headed to the city when Daddy got home to celebrate Jen's birthday.
