While Mommy, Clara and Emma miss Daddy on Saturdays during tax season, Mommy has learned to make the best of it. Today, Mommy took the gals to the gym and put them in babysitting so she could spin. Then, it was off to the Ardsley Library for storytime- and there were lots of friends there too. After a visit to the grocery store, the gang came home for lunch. It was windy but warmer, so Mommy took the kids for a run around the block and a time on the swings and slide.
Daddy got home and was able to put Clara and Emma down for a nap- which they both really needed. It is still very hard for them to wake up from naps. Daddy took all his ladies to dinner at Pumpernickel. Clara hates the "green things" in her pasta and insists that they be removed before she eats it. Funny that she asks for and eats pickles and avocadoes, since they are green. This was the cutest conversation at dinner. Scene: Emma wanted some of Clara's marinara pasta.
Clara: "Daddy, don't give Emma the green things."
Emma:" It's okay. I don't care. It comes like that."
Clara: "Oh"
Emma: "Yummy"
