Family Time

Emma was up again much of the night and ended up in Mommy and Daddy's bed with a cough. She is otherwise fine but the cough keeps her up (and everyone else!). The chill of fall was in the air as the ladies enjoyed their weekend raking of the leaves with Daddy while Mommy did some returns around town. The ladies napped in the car on the way to Long Island to celebrate cousin Kayla's 4th birthday. Clara was quite vocal and while chatting with Grandpa Sam and talking about hair, looked at him after he said something about her having curly hair said "you don't have hair."

After some cake (sugar!) they both wanted to play Wii- and actually asked for the white remotes and Emma even requested the baseball game!

On the way home from Long Island, while listening to music, and trying to find the "A O" song, Emma announced that the song on the radio was "too rock n rolly." Mommy found the song "New York"  by Alicia Keys and instructed the kids to sing "New York" everytime she did, and they did and loved it.

Clara, tired, said "I'm diculous"- meaning "ridiculous" which Mommy giggled.

Let's hope daylight savings doesn't impact the ladies too much tonite.
