Mommy took the ladies to an event at Camp Mohawk in White Plains. It was lots of fun to take a train ride, visit the farm, play mini golf for the first time, ride bikes, pick and paint a pumpkin and eat lunch!
This afternoon, Clara and Emma enjoyed some more time outside riding bikes before heading to the backyard for some playing in the leaves. They played Hulabaloo for the first time at home and absolutely loved it. It was funny to watch them both win and lose- Clara got upset when Emma won a few times in a row and pouted, but picked herself back up and played more.
Dinner was chinese food- a first. Clara loved the egg drop soup and Emma enjoyed the rice- but the noodles didn't go over too well. Have to start somewhere! At dinner, Emma said "arba" the Hebrew word for "4." So Mommy said "Echad," "1" and Emma repeated and then Mommy started the number 2, "shtaiim," and Emma knew "shalosh, "3" and arba "4" but when Mommy prompted with "cha" for the number "chamesh" "5," Emma said "Hamotzi." Cool. Then they both sang what they know of the song "alef bet." The cutest part is that they sing "Alef, bet bet bet bet gimel challah hey(missing the letter daled and inserting challah).
Mommy told the ladies that they were going to have chinese dessert -fortune cookies and said that the paper could say things like "you are beautiful or you are amazing." Emma opened hers up and said "it says I am beautiful," and Clara followed with "I am amazing."
