Clara and Emma slept until 8 am for the second day in a row. Daddy headed out of town so missed saying goodbye, but Clara and Emma were more curious as to if Grandma Kathy and Grandpa David were still here (yes). Clara and Emma were happy to dine with Grandpa David and excited to show him their class at school.
After their therapies, Emma came home and played downstairs with Grandpa and Clara played dress up with Grandma upstairs. It was nice for each of them to have some special time - something that doesn't happen enough! Clara and Emma both enjoyed taking the brussel sprouts off the branch that Grandma got today.
Tonight, Emma was doing her usual screaming after Mommy left the room. But something seemed a little different, so Grandma Kathy went in to see what was going on. Well, Emma ripped apart her little pilllow (yes the same one from the famous pillow incident a few weeks ago). There was pillow everywhere and in Emma's mouth- which clearly upset her too. So, Mommy and Grandma cleaned up Emma, the bed and the floor (although it still is everywhere) while Clara chatted about how she was sleeping and Emma woke her up.
Moral: No more pillows that can come close to being opened by little girls.
