During lunch, Emma complained that her ear hurt, so Mommy decided to give her Tylenol- assuming it was probably nothing and just pressure from her congestion. When she woke up from her nap, she was screaming that her ear hurt and kept pointing to the same one. So, Mommy cancelled her PT/OT (and Clara's Speech and PT) appointments and headed to the doctor instead. Emma had an raging ear infection and got a antibiotic prescription. The doctor looked at Clara's ears too because she is also congested and mentioned that they hurt. Good news is that it was only wax buildup...
Mommy used the brand new three day old Walgreens Drive Thru for the first time. It was awesome- one drives up, gives them the prescription and they hand you the medication in a few minutes. So easy! It is the little things that count.
Emma protested the antibiotic but finally took it and even though she got another dose of Tylenol for the pain, spent most of the afternoon screaming. Poor baby. It really is amazing how quickly these things happen.
