It is quite humid here in NY this week. Today, Clara and Emma headed off to camp. They enjoyed puzzles and playing in the kitchen and a the story "Polar Bear, Polar Bear." Emma sat right in front and Clara was determined to do her own thing and sit on a chair. Then, it was time for animals from the Animal Embassy. A few weeks ago, Emma wanted nothing to do with touching the animals. Today, it was a different story. Clara and Emma both fed the turtle a banana, touched the lizard, touched the snake (and yes, followed directions and stuck their tounges out and made the ssss sound). After a snack of muffins and bananas - Clara's favorite- it was off to the playground. Clara and Emma enjoyed all of the water on such a hot day!
And, when it came time to brush teeth, the ladies, led by Emma, insisted that Mommy put water on the toothbrushes. Mommy obliged and they brushed their teeth with their electric toothbrush. Emma once again said "okay, I spit out." And, then when Mommy said, don't forget the back (meaning back teeth), they both took the brushes out of their mouths and brushed their backs.
