"I Love Ice Cream"

Clara and Emma wore their painting clothes- ie clothes that are already stained with beautiful colors from previous art experiences. This is why they are wearing long sleeve shirts in July!
On Sunday afternoon, the ladies enjoyed their first experience at Coldstone. While waiting in line, Emma must have said (or screamed) "ice cream" or her new version, "ice eh cream" 50 times and announced to everyone that she loved ice cream. Daddy got a cup to share with Emma and Clara since Mommy and Daddy knew Clara most likely wouldn't eat it. Mommy found a little area for the ladies to sit on and enjoy their snack. Emma dug right in to the vanilla ice cream with strawberry, banana, graham cracker and white chocolate chips. She liked it quite a bit and it certainly showed on her clothes. She wasn't a big fan of the chips... Mommy and Daddy encouraged Clara to try it but she would put the spoon near her mouth and then turn away. After a few minutes, she put her spoon in the cup and slowly put the spoon in her mouth and tasted it and announced to the gang that it was "yummy" and rubbed her belly. She even had a few more bites.

After the ice cream, the gang went to Young At Art for a Family Day where Clara and Emma again got to paint. This time, they even got to learn how to splatter- putting the brush in the paint and taking it out and waving it around. Emma kept saying "splatter, splatter, splatter." Clara loved getting her hands in the paint and moving it around on the paper. The ladies also enjoyed playing with some clay.
