In the afternoon, the gang headed over to the Shotton's for a visit to the pool and a bbq. Clara and Emma were very excited about the pool and weren't shy at all about going in. The ladies spent an hour in the pool. Emma kept saying "on own," - as in she didn't want to be held or in a floatie, but she finally got in the floatie and enjoyed herself. Clara wasn't too sure at first, but they enjoyed the wheel on her floatie and went "drive, drive" and enjoyed it so much that when it was time to get out, and Daddy put her on the side, she jumped right back in. Yes....
Clara and Emma had fun at the Shotton's house too! They enjoyed coloring on the deck and playing with toys with Anabelle. They also had fun with Anabelle's daddy, Adrian as he blew big big bubbles. Emma and Clara both tried cut up hot dog (Emma liked it more than Clara) and they both ate corn on the cob- from the cob!
