Yes, cold in Dobbs and colds for Clara and Emma.
On Saturday, Clara and Emma hung out at home while Mommy and Daddy wiped their noses. Emma put up a nap protest and was exhausted. Clara's runs much more than Emma's but both have runny ones. In the afternoon, Mommy and Daddy took the ladies on a short trip to CVS to pick up Emma's eye medication. Clara enjoyed holding Mommy's hand and walking up and down the aisles. Clara and Emma continued their fascination with wearing their hats inside and added their jackets as well.
Mommy and Daddy went out with Stef, Shon, Dan and Nikki and Scott on Saturday night to Restauraunt X in Congers, NY. It was a no kid night that was long overdue! Mommy and Daddy had Elvia, the cleaning lady, watch the ladies. It went very smoothly (especially since they were asleep when Mommy and Daddy left). It was the first time Mommy and Daddy left the ladies with someone that isn't a grandparent or close friend.
On Sunday, Mommy and Daddy took the ladies to Pumpernickel in Ardsley for lunch. It was great! After, Mommy dropped off a gift at Michele and David's for new baby Jack. Finally, Clara and Emma joined Mommy and Daddy at Buy Buy Baby to pick up a few items before heading home for a nap. Around 3, Grandma and Grandpa Frome arrived for a Thanksgiving visit. Clara and Emma smiled when they saw them and were excited to have them back in the house.
Emma and Clara showed off some of their new tricks. Emma learned the words "don't touch," "waffle," "isty" "wind" and "pull" (perfect for the "Wind, Wind the Bobbin" song that Grandpa Frome sings). . Clara says "baby," and showed how she likes to sit in laps and read books. She also showed how she agrees with you by shaking her head up and down and saying "da." Clara can also do the spider with her hands now during the "Itsy Bitsy Spider." Clara also says "uh" for "up" and "dow" for "down."
