This morning, it was back to school and reality! Clara didn't love the idea of going to school and leaving Mommy. After lots of tears, she went with one ofher teachers, Gina, and talked about vacation.
After school, Mommy took Clara and Emma to Panera for lunch and then to see the pediatrican for Clara. She has complained a bit about her ears and given her recent history, Mommy and Daddy decided to take her in to get it checked out. The good news is that there isn't an infection- which means the medicine is working. The bad news is that she has a significant amount of fluid in each ear, making it difficult to hear and speak clearly. The doctor also suggested that when Clara ends the antibiotic later this week, it is possible that the fluid could cause an infection. So, it is a wait and see. In the meantime, Mommy is working on getting a second opinion for Clara.
The kids napped in the car and then had their therapies. Clara didn't want to leave again and got carried out by her physical therapist screaming and crying. However, she bounced back and had good sessions (as did Emma).
Clara and Emma were excited to see Daddy tonight. After saying goodnight, the ladies debated how to sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and which tune was right.
