Another Storm, Another Snow Day

Snow fell all night long and the gang woke up to a beautiful winter wonderland. No school for the kids and no work for Daddy (well, a few hours at home). Emma would have had to stay home anyhow because she had a fever with the ear infection yesterday - she is totally fine today though. There was about a foot of snow at least.

Ardsley continues to do an amazing job at plowing and by mid day the streets had been plowed a few times and were completely clean! Clara and Emma assisted Daddy and requested their shovels and the brush for Daddy's car. They were excited to come in for some hot chocolate and whip cream too. After their nap, the kids did the mandatory cookie baking and art project- today they colored shrinky dinks (to be baked another time).

This afternoon, Clara and Emma got all their gear on and headed outside and played on "Mount Rest," which is what Daddy named the huge mountain of snow- they climbed up and slid down and had a great time.

Clara has had an obsession with princess band aids all week because of one boo boo on her knee and a little scratch on ther hand. And, Emma needs to have a band aid to match Clara too.
