Clara and Emma slept until 8 today and then had a quick breakfast before heading to school. Mommy told them they were going to see their teachers, Laurie and Helene and they were very excited. The ladies got to school and took off their coats and put them in their cubbies. They waited by the door and ran in when it opened. What a relief!
This is the email Mommy got from the teacher's today about what Clara and Emma did at school:
"Hi Parents.
Today at school we made our own bracelets by stringing beads. The twos were able to do it by themselves after we showed them how. They enjoyed observing the different shapes and colors of the beads. We also painted with red and yellow at the easel, which the children loved doing! You'll see some of their artwork hanging in the hallway.
We celebrated Shabbat by giving money to Tzedakah Teddy, lighting the candles, chanting the blessings, and eating challah and cream cheese. We also read a few books. After snack we put on our jackets and went outside. First we took a peek in the sukkah and appreciated all the decorations. Then we went onto our playground where we drove cars and bikes, drew with chalk, climbed, and went down the slides on tummies and tushies!
Happy Simchat Torah, and have a great weekend!
Your Twos' Team,
Laurie and Helene "
Here are some photos from school today too!

Clara and Emma enjoyed wearing their new pajamas- their first nightgowns, from Natalie, which both of them thought were like tutus. They enjoyed twirling around in them. Emma event sang "go Emma, go Emma, go Emma."
