Rolling Down the Hill

Here is a note from Clara and Emma's teachers about school today:

"Hi Parents.

Your children were adorable as usual today. We had a busy morning. First we all did an art project at the table, where we used red markers and crayons as well as red tape and stickers to decorate circle shapes. You can view these round red pictures in our hallway now.

For circle time, we used rhythm sticks to keep the beat as we sang our songs. To celebrate Shabbat, we listened to a wonderful CD of Shabbat songs, put tsedakah money in Tsedakah Teddy, lit the candles, sang the blessings, ate challah, read a book about Shabbat, and sang Bim Bom and "We were on Our Way to Shul One Day." Jackie came in as our Shabbat guest to join us in our celebration.

We also took out our big book of The Very Hungry Caterpillar to read along with props (our little fuzzy caterpillar and our bigger one who turns into a butterfly).

Have a great weekend and see you Tuesday.

Laurie and Helene"

This afternoon, Clara and Emma enjoyed Station Park in Irvington with the Thursday play group crew! The loved running to the top of the hill with Sonya and Jared and trying to run off and then, roll down. They love playing with the leaves! They also liked swinging and going down the slide.
