Another Tuesday with The Rivertown Play Group

Mommy would still like to know where the sun is as the weather forecasters predicted no rain, but the clouds are in the sky and there is a chill that shouldn't be around in June. Clara and Emma enjoyed some of their usual activities early this morning. Clara opened the door to Mommy and Daddy's closet, found Daddy's shoes and put them on and walked in them. When she was done, she put them back and found another pair. While Clara was involved in her own fashion show, Emma was finding pillows and putting the bear down for a nap and joining him.
Clara had speech this morning and Emma joined her, but believe it or not, was pretty quiet. Clara did a great job and even sang some of the words to "5 Little Monkeys."

Mommy loaded the ladies in the car and headed to Toddler Messy Art. Mommy enjoyed watching Emma find a puppy and walk him around the room, like Auntie Alyssa did when she was little. Clara and Emma decorated coffee filters with markers and then got them wet and it looked like a tie dye and then the played with sponges and paint- Clara loved the sponges! At the end of class, they each got magic bubble wands and used them to pop the bubbles.

After art, Mommy took Clara and Emma to "Mommy and Me" at Bo Cafe to see other Rivertown Play Group friends. Clara and Emma enjoyed seeing everyone and loved their "bagel and cream."

The ladies woke up refreshed from their nap and enjoyed snack. Clara had some more fun, this time with Mommy's sneakers. Then, it was off to Davis Park for Playground Crawl. It was a beautiful afternoon and so fun to see so many friends! Emma's new phrase of the day, "oh man.."
