If you've been wondering what has been happening to the Gornstein gang, here is a short update!
Unfortunately, Grandpa and Grandma Frome came down with a version of the stomach thing that Clara and Emma had at the end of last week, followed by Mommy yesterday.
It seems everyone is on the mend now.
Mommy and Grandpa did take Clara and Emma to the ENT for Mommy and Clara's follow-up appointments on Monday. Mommy's ear is almost healed and Clara still has mucous build up in one of her ears and needs to start antibioitc drops. The doctor said she most likely can't hear out of that ear yet but once it clears up, will be fine. The other ear looks great. Mommy also had the doctor look at Emma's ears because she continues to pull them -which Mommy isn't sure if it is because of the teething or being tired (this rainy weather is no fun). The doctor found a significant wax build up in one of her ears and removed it and gave suggestions to help remove it, but it something that should be monitored.
On Monday afternoon, the baby proofer came to put in one gate that Daddy didn't get to and make some helpful suggestions. Clara and Emma LOVE their new space and freedom and love to say "go, go,go" and run in circles around the kitchen and living/dining room.
