Clara and Emma and Their Buckets

Before Daddy headed to work, he put up the new crib tents.

This morning, Clara and Emma enjoyed Great Play. They loved the walking the plank, going down the slide, bouncing on the trampoline and kicking the balls around. And, the especially liked the swings. Clara knew they were being put up and was first in line.

Mommy took the ladies to the mall for a quick walk and a visit to the Nordstrom sale. Mommy, Clara and Emma were glad to bump into Stefanie too- a special treat.

Clara and Emma didn't take a great nap and Mommy isn't sure if it was because of the crib tents or the lingering cough that Emma has going on.

Mommy took the ladies for a visit to the old stomping grounds in Dobbs because Mommy needed to run some errands.

The bedtime routine featured Clara and Emma running around the house with the pink and purple buckets on their heads- they like to wear them as hats- then, take them off and play them like drums when Mommy reads the "Hands, Hands, Thumb, Thumb" book. Mommy was suprised when she paused while reading and Emma just knew what the next words was. Wild.

Clara and Emma also did "yoga" with Mommy. Mommy started this a few days ago and it entertains them for a few minutes, so why not. Clara and Emma lay down on the floor with Mommy and do things like stretch their arms above their heads, kick their legs in the air and touch their toes. Clara says "kick, kick" and Emms says "yoga, Mommy."

There was also a great game of "Mommy says" that lasted at least 5 minutes - this is where Mommy says, "point to your nose" and Clara and Emma do it.
