It Isn't Too Early for Make Up

The past few days have been good but cold. Mommy went to the store and bought lots of food today in preparation for the snow that is expected on Saturday...

Yesterday, Clara and Emma played with the sitter, Samantha and got to explore her bag and play with her makeup. Clara seemed to love it while Emma had her physical therapy- and cried during most of it. She demonstrated that she can still use those lungs! They loved pl,aying with the brushes and putting the make up on Samantha- what a sport. After their nap, Mommy drove them a very short distance to Gwenn's house for a playdate with Ethan. Clara enjoyed wandering the house and loved playing with the ipod and chasing Ethan around. Emma liked playing with the book and hanging with Gwenn. At night, Mommy went to Half Moon in Dobbs with some other Rivertown twin mamas- it was a nice evening.

Today, Samantha came again for the morning and brought some Hanukkah gifts for Clara and Emma. She generously gave them three books and an Eebee bath toy. The obvious favorite is the new Elmo book- which has a buckle for Emma to unbuckle and buckle. She couldn't get enough. Before their nap, Mommy took them upstairs and enjoyed watching them gdump the laundry on the floor and try and put the clothes on. Clara even climbed in the hamper! Mommy took Clara and Emma to the Dobbs library. They both enjoyed picking books out but mostly enjoyed watching the older kids. In fact, Clara went over and tried to put a puzzle together with two little girls who were about 5. Emma tried to take their hats - while saying the word "hat" and putting it on her head.
