Clara and Emma Make the Best of Snowy Days

For lunch on Saturday, Mommy and Daddy tried a diner on Central Avenue. It just started to snow when the gang left the house, so the first plan was scratched. A trip to Barnes and Noble featured a visit to the toy train and walking down the aisles. Let's just say the girls were not happy to leave. They loved taking a bath with their new toy- bath crayons!!! Clara and Emma loved scribbling all over the tub. Yesterday, the ladies enjoyed a day inside looking out at the ice and snow. Clara and Emma wouldn't wear socks on their feet, but Daddy showed them how to put them on them on their hands.
Today, Clara and Emma were excited to go to school and play with friends. Now that Emma is standing and walking, she was able to join Clara at the easel and paint. Even the teacher commented on the happy sounds both ladies were expressing while painting.

After a nap and lunch, Clara and Emma got all bundled up again and headed to Allison's house for a playdate with her son Holden and a handful of other kids, including boyfriends, Sam and Gabe. Clara and Emma loved being able to walk all around the house!

Clara and Emma enjoyed playing with their new pop up Sesame toy. They got it for Hanukkah from Grandma and Grandpa Gornstein, but Mommy saved it for a few weeks until they were ready for something new (read: cranky and inside and in need of something fun).
