Clara and Emma were excited to return to school today. Emma and Clara enjoyed stamping with markers (and making a huge mess all over their clothes and hands), painting on the easel (both of them), playing with the play doh and checking out the kitchen and other toys. It was fun to see new faces and catch up with old friends.
Mommy took Clara and Emma out of class a bit early to head to the eye doctor for an appointment for Emma. Emma's right eye now has a blocked tear duct. Before deciding on surgery, Emma will now get drops to help solve this new eye issue.
Clara and Emma missed their morning nap and were not too thrilled about it. They did a great job of going straight down to nap when they arrived home and took a 2.5 hour nap.
When the woke up and after a bit of play, Mommy took the ladies to Trader Joe's.
Before dinner, the ladies tried climbing in the storage boxes again. Mommy continues to try and explain that they both can't fit in the same one and that it is dangerous. Emma also seems to enjoy walking on her knees. Mommy cracks up every time because it is how Auntie Alyssa walked when she was a baby! Mommy even called Emma by Auntie Alyssa's name today. Oy.
