Clara and Emma spend time in their highchairs trying out their new stacking cups and finger foods. The girls have been going down around 845-9, which is later than what they had been doing (8:15). They are generally sleeping for about 1 hr-1.5 hrs. Mommy is hoping the blackout shades that she and Daddy bought and are putting up on Saturday will help. Right now, a sheet is hanging over the blinds! For lunch on Thursday, Mommy gave them som toast pieces, which made it in their mouths! After their afternoon nap, Mommy took the girls on a short walk to the village of Hastings. Mommy found a store that sells ice cream and frogurt- yum! It is an old-time pharmacy, so it is pretty cool.
The girls had a miserable 5 o'clock hour last night. They both refused solids and cried hysterically while Mommy changed them. Mommy fed them at 5:30, but Emma refused her bottle. To her suprise, they both slept through the night until 6:45!
Today, it is raining in Dobbs Ferry, but the view is still spectacular. The girls love to try escaping from their playroom and Mommy and Daddy can't wait until the gates arrive. That will help tremedously! In the video below, it is Emma leading the way by moving the box, but please know, Clara also is a culprit and loves to move the box and crawl out! Mommy is trying out a new part-time nanny and hopes it will work out! Fingers crossed.
