Sunny Days Are Here Again

Yesterday was a beautiful day in the low 60's. The girls were not interested in napping, so Mommy took them on a walk and bumped into Anita and went with her to Ruppert Park to play with Naomi and her boys. Mommy took the girls on a walk around the UES and visited the park on 77th and East End. Then, Mommy took the girls to meet Jill, Naomi and Robin in the park with all of their babies for a walk. It was so nice! Emma wasn't too happy in the stroller and cried all the way home. When Mommy stopped to pick her up, she smiled, so Mommy knew she was ok- if only the rest of the UES knew that Mommy had checked on Emma and knew that she was fine!

Today, it was a sunny and beautiful 75 degrees in NYC and Clara and Emma had spring fever! While Mommy was at the gym this morning, Annie took Clara and Emma on a walk after their nap. After lunch and a nap, the girls headed to Central Park. Along the way, Mommy met a woman and her three week old twin boys. Mommy couldnt belive how small they were- and they were about 6 or 7 lbs! Mommy says it is hard to remember how tiny Clara and Emma were when they were born. Mommy and Annie took the girls to Central Park and played on the swings and went to the Great Lawn. Mommy put new sunglasses that Clara and Emma got at Ryan's party. The movie star girls were a hit on the street. Clara sort of reminded Mommy of Elton John. Emma took them off and put them on her head and of course, in her mouth. Clara loved being on the swings and Emma wasn't sure at first, but enjoyed it after a bit, which is funny, because yesterday, she started shaking because she was scared when she was on the swing with Mommy. The girls played on the grass for the first time. Emma touched the grass and would move back from it. She even crawled on it and then realized that she wasn't so sure she liked it. Clara didn't like the sun in her face, so Mommy put the blanket over her head- she sort of looked likes Moses...
