Today is Daddy's 35th Birthday! Happy Birthday Daddy. The girls woke up a little early because they were so excited and then went back to sleep. The girls celebrated by helping Daddy blow out a candle on Daddy's breakfast cookie. Clara and Emma also gave Daddy a card and some very nice books about kids and Dads that they picked out so he can read to them.
The girls had a very nice day and enjoyed the spring weather. Mommy took Clara and Emma on a walk to meet Michele for lunch. The girls enjoyed not wearing their jackets and smiled at all of the people on the street. At home, the girls crawled in different directions, making for a very busy and tired Mommy. Both Clara and Emma enjoy crawling to the "forbidden" spots- to the tv and staring at the stereo and the plant and to the rocking chair and playing with the foot stool. They also like playing under the exersaucer. They also seem to get a kick out of watching the door open and close and both laugh. For dinner, the girls enjoyed organic whole wheat mini waffles. Mommy cut them in very small pieces and Clara and Emma couldn't get enough.
Mommy and Daddy enjoyed a quiet dinner and Daddy had a nice cupcake for his birthday. Daddy just went to check on the girls and Clara is sleeping with her tush in the air. Mommy thinks this is very funny since Aunt Alyssa slept like this when she was a baby.
