New Foods, Dobbs Ferry and Party in NJ

Another busy weekend for Clara and Emma. On Saturday, Daddy had to work again, so Mommy hung out with the ladies while recovering from her fun night out for her birthday with Jen, Lisa and Aunt Alyssa. For lunch, the girls enjoyed new foods, broccoli and cauliflower. Emma still eats everything and Clara tends to dislike green foods. Clara also continues to be messy and must have a spoon in her hand and Emma usually is neat and when she has a spoon, uses it as a teether and puts it in backwards. Mommy must share that she thought the puree was quite good. The girls like to follow each other around and Mommy and Daddy call it "The Gornstein Girl Train." In the early afternoon, Mommy and Lisa took a walk to Pinkberry and met up with Steve and Jen. It was a beautiful day outside!

On Sunday, Mommy and Daddy took Clara and Emma to Dobbs Ferry. Clara and Emma are happy to report that they will be living in a house in about a month. Yep, it is true, they are leaving the city for more space and quite a view! They'll share more in coming days.

From Dobbs Ferry, Mommy and Daddy took the girls to New Jersey to Ryan's 3rd birthday. The girls enjoyed playing in the gym area, singing songs and seeing friends, Ryan, Sammy and Ali. Both Clara and Emma enjoyed going down the slide with Mommy, playing with the balls and trying out other gym activities. They even enjoyed a new fruit, cantelope. The girls took good naps in the car ride and had fun crawling around the apartment in the afternoon. Clara seems to have a facination with Mommy and Daddy's sneakers. Emma spent most of the afternoon playing, or should it be eating, Clara's socks. Daddy also made Emma laugh and laugh by pressing the musical buttons on the new music table and making funny faces.
