Saturday, after probably the last Tax Saturday of the season (as they are called in this house), since Mommy will be in Maryland next weekend with the kids, Clara and Emma went to babysitting at the gym while Mommy went spinning. After a stop at Nordstrom Rack, where they got to pick out a dress each. The ladies went to see Strawberry Shortcake at the movies at City Center. Emma commented throughout the movie. Mommy's favorite line was "this is serious." They had a blast running around the lobby with their friends and slept on the way home.
And, today, they enjoyed Freckleface Strawberry - an off broadway show. The kids enjoyed getting free freckles on their faces before the show and a strawberry bracelet too. They loved the music and knew the story so well. After, Daddy, who had stayed gone to get a haircut and read the paper, joined the gals for lunch at Mother Burger.
